Narrative Check List
I think I could involve the reader in a little more. After rereading my narrative it felt boring, I was thinking I didn't focus on the event but more the other stuff that happened before the event and maybe the thing I chose to write about might be to boring and maybe I should switch to something else i could expand on, focus and add more details to it and not just fill up with fillers. I didn't really have dialoge I did but I don't know if that is enough or not. From my story I think I did grow from it but I'm not sure how to show that in my paper.I don't think people got the point and there wasn't a real meaning to it.

Helen Keller
1.I liked the narrative. I thought it was well written with great descriptive words that help me picture what was going on in the story.
2. How she learned to spell
3.How she learned how to spell her words out
4.A little bit, I already have read some things about her for other classes so I already knew how she learned to read and how important her teacher was to her

5. Copy and paste three examples of vivid detail and imagery that helped enhance the story
*We walked down the path to the well-house, attracted by the fragrance of the honeysuckle with which it was covered.
* My fingers lingered almost unconsciously on the familiar leaves and blossoms which had just come forth to greet the sweet southern spring.
*The afternoon sun penetrated the mass of honeysuckle that covered the porch, and fell on my upturned face.
6 It helps you better understand what happened in the person's life if it is told from their self. It helps you get all the details, the people that were there and things like that.
7.
*Moving to Columbus
*First day at a new school
*Sanibel Island
*Scraping my knee on a hose
*Getting stung by a bee
*Lake House
*Getting lost at UK
Where I'm From
I’m from Lake Erie
From running in the sand
And from seagulls stealing my French fries
From trying to jump over waves
And getting salt water in my mouth
I am from Browns Country
From seeing orange and brown everywhere I go
I’m from sitting at seats at the Jake
From rooting for the home team
To stretching at the 7th inning stretch
From running in the sand
And from seagulls stealing my French fries
From trying to jump over waves
And getting salt water in my mouth
I am from Browns Country
From seeing orange and brown everywhere I go
I’m from sitting at seats at the Jake
From rooting for the home team
To stretching at the 7th inning stretch
I’m from being daddy’s little girl
From my dad’s big brown eyes
To his big feet and his brown hair
I’m from being mom’s helper
From my mom’s loving
And caring spirit
To her sense of independence
From my dad’s big brown eyes
To his big feet and his brown hair
I’m from being mom’s helper
From my mom’s loving
And caring spirit
To her sense of independence
I am from blasting country music
And singing to the radio
And to Jason Aldean
From driving with the top down
And feeling the wind in my hair
I’m from climbing trees
With the kids down the street
From scraping my knees until they bruised
And feeling like I’m on top of the world
And singing to the radio
And to Jason Aldean
From driving with the top down
And feeling the wind in my hair
I’m from climbing trees
With the kids down the street
From scraping my knees until they bruised
And feeling like I’m on top of the world
I’m from the sunshine from summertime
From hearing crickets and itchy bug bites
I’m from looking for lighting bugs
From only seeing the lights of the bugs
I am from gloves and bats
From dirt blowing everywhere
And hitting softballs to running the bases
From hearing crickets and itchy bug bites
I’m from looking for lighting bugs
From only seeing the lights of the bugs
I am from gloves and bats
From dirt blowing everywhere
And hitting softballs to running the bases
I’m from taking pictures
From remembering every moment
I’m from crying to smiling
From using all the tissues and falling off my seat
I’m from living, laughing and loving
From living in the moment
From remembering every moment
I’m from crying to smiling
From using all the tissues and falling off my seat
I’m from living, laughing and loving
From living in the moment
